Enhancing the visitor experience

Merritt-Harrison Catering Consultancy has assisted a range of retail organisations and visitor attractions with their catering service, helping them to maximise the food offer and improve income generation.

Projects range from advice on small coffee shops to multi-site visitor and staff restaurants. All our consultants understand the importance of food as part of the whole visitor experience.

  • option appraisal for catering procurement on behalf of a city council, and development of financial forecasts and service specifications for a diverse range of venues, including concert hall and theatre
  • option appraisal, tendering and monitoring of a library coffee shop for a London borough
  • review of facilities and catering strategy, and assistance with tendering the visitor and events catering facility for a visitor centre
  • review of visitor catering services for country parks
  • financial and operational review of café bar facilities, including development of proposals for private hire and conferencing facilities
